I just found out that Jasmine You, the ever-so-fabulous bassist of Versailles has died. I don't know much about it, but apparently he was very sick. I'm still really shocked and I don't want to believe it. But now I am even more thankful for getting to meet him at AnimeUSA last year.

So that just kinda ruined my day.

In other news, I got my schedule for next year. I'm kinda excited about it, even though they gave me 1 elective first semester and 3 second semester >.> That's what happened last year. Eh, either way, here's how it goes:

And it seems I have 3rd and 4th lunch shifts. So, next year should be interesting. Also yay philosophy!

Sooooo Otakon was AWESOME. AMAZING. GLORIOUS.

Going all three days is so intense, but it's worth it. I bought two cell phone charms (one from *celesse and a Yoko one), a Schoolteacher Yoko figurine (no I'm not obsessed ), Kanon Wakeshima's album (which I cannot stop listening to <3), two issues of Cure magazine (the same issues that were stolen from me at Katsucon), Godchild vol 7, and a figure of Ciel Phantomhive in his pretty dress (which was actually a birthday present from Tom :3). We went to Travis Willingham's Q&A, which was hilarious. That man is my hero XD We also went to Kanon Wakeshima's concert. She is sooooo unbelievably cute X3333 I wasn't able to get her autograph, but that's okay. Anime Parliament was plenty entertaining- Sephiroth was charged with copyright infringement against Kefka. Masquerade was good too- there were hardly any skits that were, well...bad XD

I got my costume finished in time, and I might even upload a picture of it. I'm so proud of how it turned out Nobody recognized me or took my picture (except Charlotte), but I really didn't expect anyone to. It was just fun to wear after spending so much time on it (except the boots...). Also lolIworeaskirt. On Sunday. Nobody expected it.

Andandand we found out that Kaya is coming to AnimeUSA! Charlotte and I SCREAMED when we found that out. I can't wait X3

Oh, and we saw Pedobear get groped. On the escalator. RESPECT. That person wins many internets.

Woooooow, it's only been a week since we got out for summer break. Feels so much longer than that o_O

Let's see, past few days I've been working on my cosplay for Otakon. It's only a mock-up right now, but it's coming along quite nicely I'm really excited! And hopefully I can get Tom to work on his costume as well >.>

And...wow. I just realized that the last time I made a journal entry was in April XD

I had a nice birthday yesterday :3 Tom came over and we watched movies and got gelato and stuff. My parents got me Rocky Horror Picture Show XD I officially love that movie. They also gave me a neat book about the Cherry Blossom Festival. And my aunt got me a momiji doll! She's adorable- pink hair and a blue kimono.

Well, I kinda don't feel like talking anymore (typing, actually). Might upload some art soon if I can find something I like

Holy frak, man. I haven't updated since before Otakon O_O

Now I'm trying to think of everything that's happened since then. Well, lots of stuff. But I don't want to bore you The only people who read this are people I know in real life anyway.

As for the lack of art...I've been in this major artistic depression type thing in which I don't like anything I draw anymore and therefore don't feel motivated in the least. But now I think I'm starting to get out of it So hopefully I will be more active on DA as well. I just scanned three pictures which should be up soon. Maybe. Hmm, I could upload pics of my Warhammer models too. And cosplay pics.

So uh, nice to be back I guess.

Mmmf. Leaving for vacation tomorrow. First we're going to Pittsburgh, then Niagara Falls. I guess that should be nice, seeing as I've never been there before (the Falls). I've been to Pittsburgh quite a few times and I really like it there. I just wish we could go on vacation AFTER Otakon, because it's seriously eating up cosplay time. I've finished my shield, I just have to attach a handle to it. I've also finished the blade of the sword but I still have to do the hilt. I'm nearly finished with the sheath but it's in pieces at the moment. The tunic is almost finished too. I got my wig the other day. It's white and kinda fluffy. And short. Whenever I wear it, I look like a dude (I guess that's a good thing...?). So yeah. I CAN wait until Otakon.

AAAAHHHHMYGAAAAWWWDIGOTANEWCOMPUTER. It's totally nifty-cool-awesome-spiffy-keen. It's got like...750GB. And a 9600 graphics card...or something. It DOES run Vista and I can't really say that I love it. Meh. The monitor is uber-huge and shiiiny. Maybe I'll take a picture of it. It even came with Photoshop Elements 6. Which is just like PS Elements 3. That was kinda disappointing. But The Sims 2 looks really pretty and shiny. Yay.

In other news...I have a groundhog living in my yard. Yep. Pretty exciting.
